Cristina Isgrò is an Italian, nonbinary 2023 Producing graduate from the National Film and Television School (NFTS). They began their career as a script reader for HanWay Film, and gained further experience during a stint at Cannes 2022 in the acquisitions department of StudioCanal UK. Cristina is now a full-time development team member at Kris Thykier’s Archery Pictures.
In November 2023, Cristina founded Weeping Willow Films, through which they have already produced two short films: Ken, written and directed by Alison Hargreaves, and Sanctuary, written and directed by Coralie Bastiaens. They are currently in pre-production on their next short film, Luna’s Ghosts, which is funded by BSLBT, directed by BAFTA Breakthrough Bim Ajadi and executive produced by Stephen Fry.
Additionally, Cristina is in development on Weeping Willow Films' first feature, The Measure of All Things, written by Sinéad Collopy and Giulia Asquino.
When not knee-deep in scripts, Cristina can be found sipping an Aperol Spritz (it’s an Italian thing), singing loudly in the kitchen, or crying while watching Luca Guadagnino’s films—because, well, who doesn't?
